Pastoral Ministries
The ministry formation philosophy of the Pastoral Ministries major calls for a balanced blend of the experiences of the ACADEMY, the ABBEY and the APOSTOLATE so that graduates are marked by biblical relevance, spiritual maturity, and ministry competency.
As an ACADEMY, we seek excellence in the pursuit of understanding truth. All truth is God's truth. Today's pastors must have a coherent and thoroughly biblical worldview to communicate with relevance and credibility.
As an ABBEY, we foster an environment where the vital spiritual disciplines of meditation, prayer, seeking God, worship, and relating Christianly in community are developed, and the ancient Christian virtues (fruit of the Spirit) are nurtured.
As an APOSTOLATE, we are committed to providing supervised ministry opportunities on and off-campus where ministry skills are honed and spiritual authority is nurtured. Ministry competency and church management skills must be developed on the job.
Youth Leadership
The aim of this program is to equip students with the necessary skills and cultivate a heart for effective Youth Ministry in the church and in society.
