INDIA! After 8 months of exciting academic course work, OMEGA GLOBAL students will travel to India for a 3.5 week trip! Local communities throughout the country will host us.

• Area – 3,166,000 sq km (comparative to just over one third the size of the US)
• Location - Southern Asia, bordering the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, between Burma (Myanmar) and Pakistan
• Government - India is the largest democracy in the world (by population) consisting of 25 states and 7 union territories
• Poplulation - 1.1 billion
• Languages - 18 Official, 1652 secondary
• Religions - Hindu – 80%, Muslim – 12.5%, Christian – 2.4%, Sikh – 1.9%, Traditional Ethnic – 1.4%, Other – 1.5%.
