Guatemala and El Salvador

Guatemala and El Salvador are fertile grounds for the gospel. In partnering with Fe Viva (Faith Alive) Ministries our team will be exposed to some incredible ministry opportunities. These opportunities will include the following:

  • Training leaders in a Bible college setting: This particular field is committed to equipping young national leaders so the local church can continue to grow and be trained. Our team will be part of making this happen.
  • Orphan ministries: Our team will be given the opportunity to love and care for orphans that so desperately need to experience the love of Jesus.
  • House of Refuge for the Homeless: We will partner in establishing a home where those who are poor can go and find the needed essentials to live.
  • Medical Clinics: Our team will help in supplying and administrating medical clinics in different towns and villages. Incorporated in meeting the physical needs of the people are opportunities to pray for the sick and see them healed in Jesus name!
  • Full Sponsorship Program for families in crisis: In countries like Guatemala and El Salvador there are many families in dire straights. As a team we will help in humanitarian and relief work. An example of this is helping villages re-establish themselves after the horrific mudslides that hit the region.

All in all, the countries of Guatemala and El Salvador need resources and help in many different areas. In the midst of its desperation the church is growing at a rapid pace and the workers on the field need partners like us to help in meeting the needs of the people. As leaders and potential students to the Omega Global track we desire to GO out of obedience to the command of Christ, and that is to: "Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

Bible School: There are 5 extension schools in 3 countries of Central America, with over 100 students.

Prison Ministry: There are more than 160 students in 2 prisons and they have access to 3 other major prisons in the country. "Fe Viva" supplies much needed supplies, such as medical aid, dental care and daily supplements to the inmates and guards.

Evangelism: "Fe Viva" teams travel to villages and visit families in their homes, sharing the Gospel, praying for needs, and giving gifts of clothing, toys, toiletries, etc. The teams share at services, performing dramas, skits, music, dance, puppets and testimonies.

Medical Clinics: "Fe Viva" teams bring medicines and a doctor to those too poor to afford medical treatment. Medical clinics are organized in a central location and people walk for hours to receive a treatment. After seeing the doctor, and getting medicine, the families are treated to new clothing, shoes, and necessary supplies. Each person is personally prayed over before leaving.
