Omega Program Description

Czech Republic

Today, Europe remains one of the last unreached regions of the world. But that is changing! God is raising a new generation of leaders who are ready to touch their nations for Christ. After living under 40 years of Communist rule and followed by 14 years of free democracy, there are still only approximately 600 evangelical churches throughout the Czech Republic, and Spirit-filled churches operate in only 200 cities. As an Omega Challenge team we will be ministering along side a church planting agency who has planted many churches throughout the Czech Republic. The team will be involved in three particular areas of ministry:

  • Community Service: Before teams go to preach the Gospel, we want them to show their Christianity by meeting people's needs. It has helped us many times with opeing the doors to people's hearts. It has also helped us to build a servant attitude within us.
  • Street work: We want people to hear the Gospel by the use of creative arts. This is also the most effective way of inviting people to the night sessions and to the church.
  • Night Sessions: We want to see people touched by the power of God in many different kinds of meetings. It could be a more traditional evangelistic style of meeting, it can be a youth creative arts meeting, it could be a children's show, or it can be a concert. We want to reach everybody preferably by a combination of relevant creativity and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Please Pray

  • For Godly local leaders to rise up and help the church plants
  • That people would be changed by the Word of God and come to full repentance
  • Pray for the leadership team of Lilfe Ministries (church planting agency): Stanislav Bubik, Lukas and Dita Targosz, and Pavel Vimr.
  • Pray for long-term missionaries who are willing to go to the Czech Republic to work along side the local church.
  • Financial Support: Pray that churches or individuals will adopt a church plant in the Czech Republic and support it so that the gospel can be proclaimed.
